p/s: For those without dates, it is because I lost the list of books I had in the middle of the year.

The Difference in Brain between Men and Women

I'm reading  Why Mars & Venus Collide by the author of the well-known Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, and impressed by the differences of men's and women's brain structure.

I'm particularly impressed by this:

"A woman's brain has a larger corpus callosum, the bundle of nerves that connects the right and left hemispheres of the brain. This link, which produces cross-talk between the hemispheres, is 25% smaller in men. In practical terms, this means men do not connect feelings and thoughts as readily as women do. In a very real sense, women have superhighways connecting their feelings to speech, while men have back roads with plenty of stop signs. Some researcheers believe that the integration of the two lobes may be the source of "women's intuition" - in other words, whole-brain processing. This stronger connection between different parts of the brain increases a woman's ability to multitask."

I just copy and paste the whole paragraph from the book.

Saying? Maxim? Cliche?

Whatever you call it...

I like this chinese "saying" : 富始一元,诚自一心。(Direct english translation: Wealth begins with one dollar, sincerity comes from one heart)

Have particular feeling when I heard this "saying", it seems to signify something, to remind me something.

I hope I can apply and remember this, etch this as my life principle.

Wonder in Daily Life 1

I've forgotten what causes this already... (Can anyone tell me?)

Our daily life really has many small scientific problems (full of wonders)...

I will keep updating some small or even tiny wonders in life that we miss, that we don't spend time pondering upon it, etc...
