A Tiring Interview
I applied for an executive position but was interviewed by four peoples! Not only that, I was asked to present on the whiteboard my idea! They even asked me things beyond their scope!
Things are "funny" when you meet harsh interviewers :)
I will definitely laugh out loud if I get this job, because I think I screwed it, unexpectedly :)

Tired and Disappointed
Quite disappointed after knowing that none of the university friends can be trusted.

Funny Thought
These days, when any organization calls us saying we won the contest, we would scornfully tell them they make the silliest joke.
And my question is why are we still keeping to take part in this and that kind of grand prize contests? *confused*

Crap
I had this kind of concept of studying very hard to get excellent results to be somebody when I was in secondary school. I was only on cloud-nine for three days though I got so called flying colors in my SPM. I was interviewed and was on newspaper. People admired me, people praised me, people uplifted me, people assured me of my future, etc. I was nearly conned! Things are not that simple and glorious, I believe.
Then when I was in foundation, I kept asking people around me how long do we need to study hard more to actually reap the so-called harvest? We are asked to study hard in primary school to get into a branded secondary school, and study hard in secondary school to get scholarship into a prestigious university, and study hard in university to get a good job. The chain never ends. Perhaps it ends when you get your first pathetic RM1800 job. You sell your soul, you sell your life, you sell your dignity, etc... When you complain or confide this in your parents or older people, they will say, well, this is life, not selling your soul, it is to mold you; not selling your life, this is for your survival; not selling your dignity, this is to cool down your bad-temper.... I then got the so-called answer from the Lord one day. I don't know if the world is too strong and pull me down again. For the Lord, everything now is just temporary, if we do things according to His will, we will be very grateful and graceful in our living. Well, I don't know how true it is, or is there any implicit meaning, I just feel that if we don't do something glorious, our life is quite wasted.
I don't know if I should be happy for those who get straight As in their SPM today and don't know their direction in life. Well, we say in life, we are exploring, we then are slowly maneuvering towards our destination. Perhaps, we might one day just get settled because of our family and our destination ends. We just work hard to make the destination a better place. I don't know if this kind of maneuvering suits me. When I thought I have quite mature thinking (this is always assured by people until I have to admit), but seriously I hate to have this kind of self-assurance, because right now, I deeply know I lack of competence in many things. Well, I am not any prestigious award scholar, I am not any youngest fellow in professional body, I am not this and that. At the end, maybe I can only say I am just a kid of God (should I be proud of this and forget everything else?) I don't know...
To be a driver can be quite tiring sometimes, because you have to keep yourself alert and responsible for the journey; to be a passenger can be quite boring and suffering sometimes, because you can only sleep, look out from the window and throw up out of sickness of motion. In life, how many times, how long are we a driver, and how many times, how long are we a passenger?
I am quite struggling seeing people around me lackadaisical (well, I am in that category quite some time from time to time too); I am quite angry seeing unfairness overwhelming in this world; I am quite tired of thinking how to help people but find myself should be the one to be helped;
I am quite sinful of writing all this =P

Peculiar Longing
When I was in primary school, some friends mentioned they were admitted to hospital before due to fever, small operation, etc... And guess what, I wished I could also stay in a hospital for one or two nights to make myself "equal experienced" with my peers! @@I was wondering hard why everyone was so "blessed" that they could be admitted to hospital while I didn't have the chance. *speechless*
Luckily I am really blessed that I have never been admitted to hospital besides when I was born (that one not admitted, by the way). And now when I know more about insurance, how I appreciate that my parents take good care of me and how blessed I am that I have zero hospital admission and so it eases the insurance procedures. *winks*
Sometimes, good or not good is really hard to be judged.... Perhaps should learn from Jackie Chan in his Little Big Soldier that when we encounter everything, we should have the spirit of facing it with positive mind of saying "quite good"....

Pre Chinese New Year Thought
Well, I was kinda excited as chinese new year is creeping in. But as time is passing, I start to think what should I do during the one week holiday to get the maximum benefits. But roughly, I wish to
1. Blog about Langkawi Trip
2. Blog about Genting Trip
3. Start a bit on my two assignments
4. Finish reading two books
5. Exercise at least 4 days in the one week
6. Meet up with my whacky gang
This really sounds great! Castles upon castles are built on the air. =.=
Hopefully I really can have a fruitful chinese new year.

Identity Dilemma
Have been tired and bored, for quite a while, of being clad with the mask of nostalgia.jesskang.
Perhaps after watching Avatar (two days ago), I am suddenly questioned of my identity...
Does this mask still represent me?

Root
Have been struggling for quite a while as Chinese New Year is around the corner. Chinese New Year for most of the Chinese outstation is to go back their perhaps already alien hometown for reunion, it is meant to be a very merry and warm festival.
Unexpectedly, a pang of confusing feeling hit me as I think of Chinese New Year this time. It mainly reminds me of my root. For those who are closed with me, they know I wish to go overseas very much. I might be someone who is ambitious likes to build castleS in the air. I always feel the land overseas is a green pasture. I always feel people abroad are more polite, more liberal, more considerate etc. To what extent they are true, I have no energy to argue here.
But, try to ponder on the followings:
1. Do you feel bored after eating spaghetti, steak, sandwiches for quite a while? And out of sudden, what you want is the cheap RM5 mixed rice at the chinese stall?
2. Do you get sick of tonnes of english songs played everyday in your ears? And out of sudden, you go and download some chinese songs to listen?
3. Do you find yourself worn-out of the rat race and suffocating environment? And out of sudden, what you want is to go back home to have some leisure time? (This applies even if your home is in any cities)
After a while, for someone who is looking forward, I begin to doubt, having my family here and pursuing prosperous future is really that fascinating.
I begin to miss my family.
I begin to trace back my root.
....
P/S: Sometimes, we really do not need to wait until we come to the stage of "For what is a man profited, having gained the whole world, but having lost or forfeited himself?" and realize we need to go home. :)
Appendices
I am not sure about others, but for me, I simply don't like appendices. It is like I've finished reading when I reach the last page of epilogue or the last page of the last chapter. I always treat appendices as reference, bibliography and all kind of rubbish. I am not sure if this is due to the environment I am being brought up.
Well lazy people like to give excuses, no?
What it discourages the most is when I study a small portion, it directs me to this chart, that diagram, this table, that figures on some other pages! I cannot really understand already, still have to be brought round the bushes!
This is the first time i force, beat myself to get through the hellish appendices! Argh... Forcing myself is a torture for me!!! Appendices are simply too important for me at the moment...
*Really feel like crying*
Lackaidasical
If you say sleeping 12 hours a day for two consecutive days is lazy;
If you say being a student loading with assignments and exams but never look into the syllabus and format is lazy;
If you say refusing to eat just because the weather is hot and the stall is far is lazy;
If you say not charging the phone just because afraid the phone will be over-charged due the long-hour-sleep is lazy;
Shamefully, I not only fulfill all the above, but I am even lazy to open accounts in some exam forums, edit pictures from trips and dinners due to slow computer processor!
Well, I guess lazy people like to give endless excuses for not doing this and that. WAKE ME UP PLEASE! I need to slap myself...

It's still here...
Luckily it is still here..
Nearly lost it yesterday due to sleep deprivation six-hour-sleep the day before yesterday. Well I am a baby! I need 10-hour-sleep!
Luckily my friend is so honest and she returned to me after I tried calling my number. I left it outside computer lab. WTH =.= It must be when I was keeping things in my bag that I left it on the shelf. *Don't laugh*

Streamyx Sucks
Last night, when I was so excited uploading my outing pictures, suddenly my internet connection disconnected! WTH!
Ms Streamyx is so moody, she always likes to jump off when people get high, and then come back to meet you when you have been so frustrated fixing the line, plugging in and out, restarting router, repairing your connection...
And I wonder if this Ms Streamyx is too fat, she runs ridiculously slow! I don't think she is fat or what, but more to our Malaysian style, LAZY, no training!
CRAP!!!!
I'm just writing to vent my frustration and disappointment over this Ms Streamyx last night... *grin*
