22nd Birthday

This year is the year I receive the most wishes. Kudos surely go to Facebook! I really appreciate all these wishes, be it from my beloveds, my bosom friends, my newly acquaintances or even strangers (blame facebook). I am very happy for it. Will this year be the turning point in my life?

I learn something very significant this year. Many times, I blame, I rant, I complain, I don't know how to appreciate people around me. But today, I attended a talk given by a 29-year-old millionaire. When he shared about how his girl friend went thru all the thin and thick with him, tears actually welled up in my eyes. I controlled so hard and quickly wiped them away. Many times, we are touched by people's actions. Many times, we always think how great people treat their family. Many times, we envy how can people's relationship be so great. Many times, we think that we are inferior.

But, today,

I was touched not because of their struggles nor their great love. But I suddenly realize how blinded I was but at the same time how blessed I am. What my sweetheart does (I don't want to compare) is what I really should appreciate!

Love doesn't make the world go 'round; but love makes the ride worthwhile!

Pizza Delivery

First time I ate pizza from delivery. *grins* I jokingly told my housemates that if they couldn't deliver within 30 minutes, we would ask for discount since our condo lift has been broken down for few days, and sometimes we need to wait for 5 minutes to get the only lift left.

*disappointed* The pizzas were delivered on due time. When we started eating, my housemates told me 30% is given by paying with Maybankard and buy 1 free 1 is granted if paying with Maybank online transfer! Guess what?! I have these two! WTF (what the fish)!!! Anyway we enjoy the meal. It cost only Rm36 for three pizzas.

Of Formality

I have this friend of mine who likes to wear suits so much, get me, I say suit- blazer, pants, long sleeve shirt with tie! So one day we were talking about why people scorned at us when we Malaysian wear suit walking on streets but marveled at those Caucasian or any other foreign chinese with tidy square suits on streets.

I tell you if you wear suit here, people
will keep looking at you until
you gotta take it off...

When will Malaysia LRT scene becomes something like Tokyo bullet train scene?

And when will Malaysia KLCC streets with white collars becomes something like Hong Kong Central?

Fire Extinguishers

Well, I am amazed of how commercial world react quickly to the happenings around. Today I made some grocery shopping in Carrefour MidValley and saw a booth selling fire extinguishers. The drawing point they employed is the recent tragedy occurred in Bukit Mertajam.

I kinda buy their idea to increase public awareness in addition to haul a big amount of revenue *grins*

Ideas do not need to be new, but catchy right?

Funny Thought

I had this funny thought crossed my coconut just now:

These days, when any organization calls us saying we won the contest, we would scornfully tell them they make the silliest joke.

And my question is why are we still keeping to take part in this and that kind of grand prize contests? *confused*

April Fool

This year I experienced a very special April Fool...

My external exam body sent me a confirmation letter on exam registration on the exam which I had passed. @@

I was truly puzzled and took the email as a joke for this April Fool. I then emailed them to clarify and later on they sent me this:

"April 1, 2010

Dear Candidate,

Please disregard the email that was just sent to you. This was an error and you are not registered for Exam FM.

Thank you for your understanding.

Society of Actuaries"

Even profession body did mistake *grins* *winks*
