Batu Caves

Had been thinking to visit Batu Caves donkey years ago, especially on Thaipusam but was always lazy. Decided to "exercise" at Batu Caves yesterday on the spur of the moment. So after breakfast, we headed to Batu Caves to challenge the steep flight of 272 steps!

Still smiling before climbing

The staircases are steep but the 272 steps are fairly shorter compared to a small hill.

We reached the cave at the top easily.

Batu Caves contains a lot of precious metal like limestone.

Like this picture quite much
as it is hard to capture a clear pic in dimmed surrounding.

Monkeys there grab whatever food in
visitors' hands.

We stayed there for around an hour as Alvin was attracted by the monkeys there. @@

We then made our way to National Zoo!

I think this is absolutely a great start for both of us to get rid of the sedentary lifestyle, and once again to make ourselves young and as fit as fiddle.
