Coxsackie

A friend of mine asked me during the Pangkor trip if I would learn swimming after coming back. How I wish I know to swim!! But sometimes reality and the surrounding happening are always against your will and wish. Same applies to me.

I went swimming every Friday when I was in primary school. But one epidemic drew a full stop to this weekly activity.

It should be 1998 or 1999 when there was an outbreak of this kisskick-ass Coxsackie disease. And unfortunately my little sis was contracted with this serious illness; and fortunately at the same time my sis was contracted with the not serious type and thus she survived. Since then, we NEVER go swimming, not even those theme parks like Sunway Lagoon or Bukit Merah (our favorite). Another reason might due to the hectic tuition schedule we have.

Should I tell my parents I wanna learn swimming again? I actually have tonnes of reasons to tell them why I should learn swimming. *grin* (I'm a bad daughter)

I purposely wrote this to remind myself of the name of this disease, I used quite some time to find it out.
